Time and corn flour

So I have a bit more time on my hands lately, and I've started to garden rather than bake. So there will be a distinctly gardeny feel to this, but I do intend to continue baking.

This morning we were hungry and had nothing to go with eggs, so I thought I would make some sort of corn cake or bread or something. I started with two eggs, some oil and honey and salt, whisked together. Then about a cup of corn flour (not meal) and half a cup of spelt flour and a teaspoon of baking powder. It seems like I ended up with corn pancakes.

Photos to follow.

Hi B! Dan and I have been doing a lot of this type of baking too lately. The experimental, "we have chocolate chips let's see what we can do," type. I like it. Can't wait to see the pics.

The photos didn't turn out so great. I got distracted by hunger. They were heavy and bland, but sat well in yoghourt and syrup, and an egg.
